Play Action International enriched the lives of vulnerable children through play. Since 2009, the charity has built more than 400 educational playgrounds that have provided over ½ million children with a safe space to play, develop, and heal. Our educational play training programmes have transformed the skills of over 2,000 teachers – enabling them to deliver more inspiring and stimulating lessons for children, despite the low resource settings they work in. And now the charity is infusing its play expertise to address a wider range of children’s needs including trauma, health and climate change.

Everyday, 120 amazing children attend this dark, derelict & dangerous nursery in Kisumu, Kenya, because they know a quality education is their best chance of a life free from poverty, in the future. Together with ProSeed we are building these children a new nursery. We have committed to creating a ground-breaking play-based early years educational setting that will inspire a lifelong passion for learning. At a cost that is les than an equivalent government nursery build. Our goal is for this nursery design to become a template for early-years settings across Africa.
