GTOC is a Community Based Organisation supported by Starfish Malawi, located in the heart of Ngolowindo, Malawi.
It is in a rural area, suffering extensively from the challenges of living in poverty, with the local communities facing inadequate levels of income, fragile food security and a lack of education and investment.
Currently 525 children are registered to attend the 4 village nurseries.
Since the project began in 2004, a total of 4,228 children have enjoyed the free nursery education offered.
The children are monitored and supported in education, health, psychosocial and physical wellbeing. In addition to the nurseries there are After School Clubs and a Saturday children’s club.
