ProSeed supports efforts to protect and restore forests and natural ecosystems with Yacumadre, a project and foundation co-founded by one of our trustees Thomas Jenkins, based in Antioquia, Colombia.
Yacumadre is dedicated to rainforest preservation and reforestation, caring for hundreds of hectares of virgin forest, water sources and biodiversity while building long-term environmental resilience.
In addition to its protection efforts, Yacumadre has planted over 10,000 trees, plants and seeds with their wider goal to reforest the whole area in which they operate. An area that has been seriously deforested for coffee and cattle farming.
Supporting Yacumadre helps safeguard vital ecosystems and expand community-based conservation.
